I have never been able to stick with a diet, never. This has become a lifestyle change. With Ezekiel bread I can have a sandwich, with sugar free candy or ice cream I can calm a crave. I never need to count calories or weigh food. I have lost 22 pounds in 7 weeks and I am so happy with it.

I look at it as a food plan rather than a diet. I lost 17 lbs. in 2 months and it was not hard. I overcame the "no sugar" issue with stevia, agave nectar, Splenda and no-sugar added yogurt and ice cream. The "no flour" restriction became quite manageable with Trader Joe's flourless (delicious) whole grain sprouted wheat berry bread, flourless pasta, rice crisps "crackers," white cheddar corn puffs and Barbara's organic whole grain cereals. You can do it too!

I HAVE FOUND THIS PROGRAM TO BE A NEW WAY OF LIFE. BUT - A FRIEND THAT I INTRODUCED THE PROGRAM TO FOUND EZEKIEL BREAD - MADE WITH SPROUTS-NO FLOUR-NO SUGAR- EXPENSIVE SO I DON'T EAT MUCH BUT IT'S GOOD. THE FRIEND ALSO FOUND PASTA MADE FROM RICE - I USE THE BROWN RICE. SENT DR. GOTT PACKAGES FROM BOTH - ASKED HIS OPINION. DO USE CORN TORTILLA. IF HE SAYS "NO GOOD" I WON'T USE THE RICE PASTA OR BREAD. I THINK DR. GOTT IS WONDERFUL AND READ HIS COLUMN DAILY. HAVE NO HATES-HAD TO PUT ONE IN.

I didn't like that I had to get rid of bread, cookies, and other items with flour, but since I could have rice and potatoes, I didn't feel too deprived. Eating out on this diet was pretty easy because I knew exactly what I could and could not have so I didn't have to skip eating out with friends while on this diet. I do admit that I really craved a sandwich while on this diet!

As Dr. Gott has expressed over and over-- No sugar No Flour is a "good for you" life change and it is easy and cheep. My 35 year old daughter and I started mid-July 2007. Both of us have lost 15 lbs, our goal is to loose an additional 15. We both have no doubt we will shed the other 15 lbs before Thanksgiving 2007. As Dr Gott has stated; when we reintroduce flour/sugar after weight goal is met; we plan to do so spareingly. We feel great!! Do This for yourself!!
